Paoli Dam feels ‘sad’ for not to be a part of Season’s Greetings

Paoli Dam was supposed to play a key role in Ram Kamal Mukherjee's second directorial

Season’s Greetings

but her rearranged shooting schedule due to the Majerhat Bridge Collapse on September 05 has forced Paoli to leave the project. The popular actress feels sad beacuse she was really excited about the film as it’s a tribute to late Rituparno Ghosh. As per the latest development, Celina Jaitly will replace Paoli and this film marks her return to Bollywood after 7 long years.

"I am feeling really sad that I will not be a part of Ram Kamal Mukherjee's A Tribute To Rituparno Ghosh: Seasons Greetings due to my prior commitments which is incidentally clashing with the shooting dates of this film. Ram Kamal is a dear friend and this project will always remain close to my heart for Rituda (Rituparno Ghosh) so I wish him and his entire team all the best. Hopefully Ram Kamal and I will be working together on something else very soon," said Paoli wishing the director all the best.

Paoli has her hand full of projects right now. She is playing the lead in both Shiboprosad-Nandita’s upcoming ‘Kantho’ and Manoj Michigan’s ‘Tritiyo Adhyay’.

Meanwhile, Season’s Greetings, which also stars

Lillette Dubey

in the lead, will explore the complex nature of a mother-daughter relationship. While Lillette will play the mother’s role, Celina will be seen as the daughter. The film is produced by Aritra Das and Shailendra Kumar and coproduced By Vinay Agarwal & Yash Nagariya.
