Piya Re’: Shoham Chakraborty and Srabanti Chatterjee starrer to release on July 27

Abhimanyu Mukherjee’s next ‘Piya Re’ finally gets a release date. Starring Soham Chakraborty and Srabanti Chatterjee in the lead, the emotional romantic drama will hit the theatres on July 27. This is Abhimanyu’s second directorial after ‘Noor Jahaan’ which released earlier this year. ‘Piya Re’ has already become the talk of the town for its melodramatic trailer and the outstanding music by Jeet Gannguli.

‘Piya Re’ is all about a love story with a twist where the couple gets separated. With this film, the hit pair of Soham and Srabanti is making a comeback after a long time. Srabanti will be seen sporting a different look as a girl next door but the same can’t be said about Soham who will repeat himself in his typical look and expressions. This romantic saga will also introduce comic actor Kanchan Mullick in a completely different avatar.He will be seen as the female lead’s elder brother Madhab who is a notorious local goon.
