Pradeep Sarkar gave me my big Bollywood break: Shataf Figar

Shataf Figar who worked with the late Pradeep Sarkar in the film Helicopter Eela shared his thoughts on the director's death.
"I’m deeply grieved by this loss to our industry. Dada’s demise is more of a personal loss for me. Because he marked the beginning of my Bollywood career. He was the one who noticed my work in an ad and decided to give me my Bollywood break in Helicopter Eela. Even though the film was released without me in it, it was the highest point of my life and career at that time. It motivated me and filled me with courage and belief that Dada had faith in me," said Shataf.
The actor was also supposed to star in Sarkar's next. "Upon meeting him after the release he told me I owe you one. We were soon to start filming for his next, Priya Interrupted. But alas! Just the thought of him casting me and working with me again fills me with gratitude and leaves me with a strong belief in myself and the craft," he added.
