Priyanka Sarkar can’t stop smiling from ear to ear. The actress won the Best Actress award for the film, Andarkahini, directed by Arnab Middya at the 8th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival, 2018. The film was also adjudged as the Best Bengali Film in the jury section. Andarkahini deals with four stories of four women and their relationships with their father, brother, friend and husband. All the four women are portrayed by Priyanka. The four different stories sow how women are faced with difficult situations in life and how they deal with the crises. Siddhartha Chatterjee, Sumit Samadder, Sayani Ghosh and Prasun will be seenplay important roles in the film. While the story, screenplay and direction are by Arnab Middya, Supriyo Dutta is the cinematographer and Arghya Kamal Mitra, the editor.
