Prosenjit Chatterjee confirms he has no plans to join politics

He has been in this industry for a long time and has seen certain things changing in showbiz for years. Prosenjit Chatterjee is well aware of the fact that many actors are joining politics to connect with the mass in a better way and some are being criticized for their failed political careers. However, the Tollywood superstar prefers to stay away from active politics.During a recent live with a media outlet, Prosenjit confirmed that he has no intention to join politics.
Some say he was once approached to contest at Rajyasabha election but Prosenjit had humbly declined that offer. So, why is he so reluctant to start a political career even with all these years of experience? The celebrated actor revealed the main reason behind such a decision during the live. According to him, politics is not for him because we all are experts in different things and he’s not ready to start a political career. Prosenjit further said that he won’t be able to handle politics and that’s why doesn’t want to try his luck in it.
Will he ever change his mind? To this, the ‘Kakababur Protyabortan’ actor firmly said that he won’t change his decision in the future as well. So, there’s no possibility of a political career for Prosenjit Chatterjee.
Interestingly, time and again the Tollywood star has been linked to wild rumours suggesting his potential political career. People have always speculated about him joining politics but Prosenjit never spoke about his political career or possibility of joining politics, until now.

Meanwhile, on the work front, the celebrated actor is awaiting the release of his next film ‘Aay Khuku Aay’ which will come out in theatres on June 17.
