“Motherhood is indeed special. I am more adaptable now, I am more patient than ever and at the same time constantly trying to be a better human being. I believe mothers usually become the role models to their kids. I strongly feel that and I know I am that to my daughter. For that reason, I always keep in mind that I have to set or create examples so that she can proudly follow those examples while growing up,” shares the actress.

Mithila, also the wife of director Srijit Mukherji, feels that her daughter Ayra has been an inspiration to her as well, “In fact, Ayra is not only an inspiration to me but she is also my best friend, travel partner, and I have realized that she can understand me a lot. I wish to see my daughter as the way she is and she doesn’t have to stop in her tracks. She also doesn’t have to worry about what others would think or say.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Mithila who was seen in a cameo recently in Prosenjit Chatterjee starrer ‘Ay Khuku Ay’ will next be seen in Raajorshee De’s film ‘Mayaa’, inspired by William Shakespeare's popular tragedy ‘Macbeth’. She also has two more films in the pipeline – ‘Kajol Rekha’ and ‘Nitishastra’. The versatile actress has the new season of ‘Montu Pilot’ as well in her kitty.
