Rahul Banerjee to star in a psychological thriller

Rahul Banerjee will soon be seen in a psychological thriller ‘Chokh’. Directed by debutant Bappa, the cast also includes Anindya Banerjee, Rimii Deb, Ankita Chakraborty, Tapati Munshi, Sandip Mandal, Annay Bhattacharya, Vikram Das, Arpan Bose, Saheb Haldar, Surajit Maity in key roles.
The story follows professor Robert (Rahul Banerjee) who suffers from a personality disorder while struggling to get hold of his crisis.Meanwhile, a series of deaths rock the city and Robert gets involved in it. What happens next forms the crux of the story.

The director is excited about this first venture: ''Shreya has helped me a lot since the time we wrote Chokh. Suddenly I thought of working on a psychological concept. The whole creation is ours and we did the whole thing in lockdown only. While writing the story I already imagined the characters played by Rahul Da, Anindya Da, Rimi, and others. Everyone loved the concept of the story and they are really excited about the work. The main plot is about the life of Robert (Rahul Da) and Oishi (Rimi Deb). There are lots of twists and turns. I maintained the thrill throughout the story.”
