Raj Chakraborty along with his wife
Subhashree Ganguly and son
Yuvaan
enjoyed their much-needed
vacation
to the fullest. They were in Jaipur,
Ajmer Sharif
and Delhi for a short trip and are returning to Kolkata today.
Both Raj and Subhashree shared a series of pictures from their vacation but little did they know one such picture will attract controversy. It all started when Raj shared photos from Ajmer Sharif as they can be seen seeking blessings. While many showered love on Yuvaan, there were some who started trolling the Chakraborty trio. They even created memes and little Yuvaan was also dragged into it. The memes were all about communal hatred and Raj was slammed for seeking blessings at Ajmer Sharif.
Later, the director, also a politician, took a dig at those who started this trolling. “I am shocked to see how people’s culture, mentality have degraded these days. They even didn’t spare Yuvaan. Being a Bengali I am a secular person and will never entertain those who see religion as weapon of hatred. I visit all the religious places. I don’t have to justify what I will do. Just think of it. Those who have created these memes are simply mentally disturbed. Otherwise they would have spared a little kid,” shared a furious Raj.
Meanwhile, on the work front, he has planned to release his two films ‘Habji Gabji’ in June and ‘Dharmayuddha’ in August. Both of them were stuck because of the pandemic and subsequent lockdown.
