Raj Chakraborty is all set to give a sequel to the comedy flick eyeing a Durga Puja release this year.

Rudranil Ghosh will reprise their roles in the sequel. Jisshu Sengupta has been added to the cast for a pivotal role replacing Abir Chatterjee, who amazed the audience in the first installment with his acting brilliance.
The surprise is elsewhere. Raj has cast his newly-wed wife Subhashree as the leading lady in ‘Katmundu 2 Cambodia’. In the first flick,
Mimi Chakraborty played the lead role alongside Tanushree. It was confirmed a few months back that Raj’s former girlfriend Mimi won’t be a part of the sequel.
Everybody was expecting the director to rope in Subhashree as they are now husband-wife, not just a couple. However, Raj Chakraborty has apparently revealed that the beautiful actress was signed in only because the lead character perfectly fits her. He also allegedly claimed that initially Subhashree rejected that offer and it took a lot to convince her to play the lead in the sequel.
