Sayantan Ghosal’s upcoming adventure flick ‘
Sagardiper Jwaker Dhan
’ will see
Parambrata Chatterjee and
Koel Mallick pairing up for the third time. While Parambrata will be seen as Kumar,
Gaurav Chakrabarty has been roped in for the character of Bimal, which was earlier played by Rahul Banerjee. It also stars
Kaushik Sen,
Rajatava Dutta, Kanchan Mullick and
Shantilal Mukherjee in key roles.
While speaking about the film, Rajatava Dutta looked really excited and he assures the audience will be surprised to see his new avatar in Sayantan’s film.
“It’s really an interesting character I am playing. Plus, I love treasure hunt and Sayantan has become a master in this. It’s not a sequel to Jwaker Dhan but Bimal-Kumar is here. This film has a new original story. Kanchan Mallick will play a vital character here and of course our favourite Koel Mallick too has joined the cast. I will play a Kuwaiti mysterious man who is devoted to his a boxing ring in Bangkok being a former boxing champion. He is also very good boatman and he takes Bimal, Kumar to the mysterious island. Frankly speaking I have never done such a unique character. A completely different look and I think people will be surprised to see me. As a whole, I believe Bengali cinema hasn’t seen such a cult adventure film so far,” said the popular actor.
If all goes according plan, ‘Sagardiper Jwaker Dhan’ will release during the 2019 summer.
