Ram Kamal Mukherjee’s ‘Season’s Greetings’ off to California

Ram Kamal Mukherjee’s ‘Season’s Greetings: A Tribute To Rituparno Ghosh’ is a short Hindi feature film exploring the complex nature of a mother-daughter relationship. The film starring Celina Jaitly, Lillette Dubey and Azhar Khan in the lead, is now all set for its international journey. It has been selected at the prestigious Queen Palm International Film Festival, California, in the Best Foreign Film category.‘Season’s Greetings’ is the only Indian film to get an official selection at the festival.
While Lillette will play the mother’s role, Celina will be seen as the daughter. Produced under the banner of Assorted Motion Pictures and SS 1 Entertainment, the story of this film has been penned by Ranjib Mazumdar, while screenplay and dialogues are by Chandrodoy Pal.
‘Season’s Greetings’ made headlines earlier this year as it became the first Bollywood film to rope in an Intimacy Supervisor. Incidentally the film has an intimate scene which needs to be picturized on the male lead Azhar Khan and Celina Jaitly who play a couple in the film.
