Sadly for anyone who used to believe in celebrity love, the disappointments kept coming in the most shocking way in 2021. There were quite a few celebrity breakups in Tollywood that hit us hard. And then, there were certain actors who had to face the wrath of netizens as they were blamed for the reason behind these breakups or troubled relationships. Take a look at these Tollywood celebs who were dragged into the eye of the storm.

Actor Yash had to face personal attack, online trolling and criticism from netizens for his relationship with Nusrat Jahan. He was slammed by many for being the reason behind Nusrat and Nikhil Jain’s broken marriage. Now we all know the relationship between Nusrat and Yash. We also know he’s the father of Nusrat’s son Yishaan. But the severity of online hatred both Yash and Nusrat faced was cruel to say the least.

Actor-director Tathagata Mukherjee and Debleena Dutt’s marriage of seven years hit the doldrums in December. The reason behind this, is, reportedly, Tathagata’s alleged relationship with actress Bibriti Chatterjee. However, both Tathagata and Bibriti denied these rumours. Tathagata said he won’t talk about this since it’s his personal matter. But, Bibriti’s cryptic Instagram posts lately convinced gossipmongers that she might be the reason behind Tathagata and Debleena’s breakup.

In June, several news reports of trouble in actor Indraneil Sengupta and Barkha Sengupta’s marriage started doing the rounds. Rumours suggested there were growing instances of marital discord between the celebrity couple. Bengali actress Ishaa Saha’s name cropped up as a reason behind this. However, Indraneil later quashed all the rumours of his alleged affair. Speculations started floating soon after Indraneil and Ishaa shot for a film, Tarulotar Bhoot, in February-March in the remote villages of Burdwan, West Bengal. Ishaa even spent her birthday with Indraneil and the team. According to sources, the duo seemed to share a ‘friendly’ relationship and that gave rise to speculations about their alleged affair.

Back in June when popular actor Kanchan Mullick and his wife Pinky were in loggerheads popular TV actress Sreemoyee Chattoraj was dragged into the mudslinging as a portion of social media slammed her for being the reason behind Kanchan and Pinky’s troubled married life. Even Kanchan’s wife Pinky took a dig at Sreemoyee for manipulating her husband Kanchan. However, Sreemoyee made it clear she is not a homewrecker and Kanchan is nothing but an industry senior and brother to her.
