Riddhi Sen celebrated Mother’s Day with mom
Reshmi Sen in a very different way. “Ma and I bond over acting, especially theatre. It’s our shared passion. On May 29, we’ll be staging Hamlet, where ma and I play a mother-son duo but in a different way. So, on Sunday we rehearsed the whole day. I feel it was the best possible way to celebrate the special day. Of course, I feel each day is Mother’s Day as their contribution to our lives is unparalleled,” said the actor.
Riddhi went on to reveal that he’s planning for a short vacation to
Shantiniketan
in June as a Mother’s Day gift to his mother. “Ma is a brilliant cook and on Sunday, she made kancha
aam diea
sol macher jol and
caramel
pudding. We enjoyed it for dinner after a long day spent rehearsing for the play,” said Riddhi, who is also busy shooting for Pavel’s Doctor Kaku, where he plays
Prosenjit Chatterjee’s son. “One day of the shoot is left. Then, I’ll start dubbing for
Mon Kharap
, which is also directed by
Pavel,” Riddhi said.
