On the first day of dubbing, Riddhi wrote on his social media, “One of the most enjoyable parts of making a film started today, a script is re-written so many times, on floor, inside the edit room and inside the dubbing studio. Often dubbing is considered to be unscientific ,

sync sound

is considered to be the most authentic and ‘human’ way of approaching acting , the on-location sound is hard to recreate, but still dubbing ends up to be a process of self discovery, both for an actor and a filmmaker, the entire interpretation of acting and storytelling can entirely change at times during this beautiful process called ‘dubbing ‘. I have been to a dubbing studio several times but today I felt like I went back to my first day and it was an inexplicable feeling. And there are very few people in India who can re create the ‘on floor’ moment inside a sound studio and one of them is Aural Workstation , the way they blend in the actor’s lines with the background is simply masterful, seamless and rare , something which is absent in most of the films which are dubbed . I’m grateful and immensely happy to work with Anindit Roy, Adeep Singh Manki and TanmoySaha . The first day of ‘Coldfire’s’ dubbing ! (sic)”

Elaborating on the film, the actor said, “I read the short story when I was very young and wanted to work on it. In 2017, my maternal grandfather passed away and it was my first visit to a crematorium. My life changed after that and it was that moment when I was absolutely sure about making this film.”
