Rituparna set for Saraswati Puja at home
The actress will be accompanied by the team of her upcoming release, Aaha Re, as she offers her prayers this year
Despite her busy schedule, Rituparna Sengupta makes time for her family and is always available for celebrations at home. So, every year, Saraswati Puja is celebrated at her Golf Green residence in all its grandeur. This year too, it’s not going to be any different. The actress will be accompanied by the team of her upcoming release, Aaha Re, as she offers her prayers this year. Director of the film, Ranjan Ghosh, and actors Arifin Shuvo and Amrita Chattopadhyay will be present to attend the puja. Aaha Re is a film about a chef in Dhaka, played by Arifin. While Amrita plays his love interest in the movie, Rituparna essays the character of a docile woman who excels in the culinary art. On the professional front, Rituparna is busy with a couple of films like Limelight and Bidrohini. Her Hindi venture in which she plays wife to Anurag Kashyap — Bansuri — will also begin soon. But there’s one more good news that she shared recently. Her Instagram account has garnered 50k followers and the actress couldn’t have been happier. “My team has been told that my Instagram handle enjoys huge popularity — one of the best in showbiz in the city. I am grateful to my fans for making it a huge success. I hope to reach out to them in a bigger way,” she said.
