Talking about the show, the actress said, “It is titled Rishta, which will depict the eternal bond of mind, body and soul. Mind, body and soul are the three eternal assets of our lives and the show will talk about the wonderful journey called life. Staying positive and happy are the most basic things all of us should practice and this show talks about that. This pandemic has made us realise how important it is to keep our minds healthy and sound. Taking care of one’s mental well-being is extremely important, especially in these trying times when there are so much of uncertainties all around,” said the actress, adding, “After five-six years I did a project for television. It is a motivational show, and the script is penned by me too. This show stresses that we can’t give up in life no matter whatever difficulties we might face.”
Rituparna will be back in Kolkata on Saturday and will start shooting for Ranjan Ghosh’s film
Mahishasura Mardini. The shooting of the film got stalled in April because of the second wave of the pandemic. Talking about her character in this film, Rituparna said, “I play
Stuti
, an air force pilot. It is a powerful character who talks less and has a very strong personality. She has gone through a lot, but she is composed. There comes a point in her life when she has to make a strong decision and the film shows how she does that.”
