Veteran Bengali actress-singer Ruma Guha Thakurta breathed her last in Kolkata on Monday morning at her Ballygunge residence. She was 84. Within hours after the news of her sad demise broke, the Bengali film fraternity was left in shock as Tolly big names like Prosenjit Chatterjee, Rutuparna Sengupta and others paid their homage to the actress whose son is none other than popular singer Amit Kumar.
