In Krish Somak Bera’s upcoming short film ‘Cinemar Porday Shob Choritro Kalponik’,
Saayoni Ghosh is pairing up with Bangladeshi actor Mamnun Hasan Emon in the lead.
The 60-minute-film delves deep into the actual meaning of love and its varied implications in our lives.
The short film also explores whether the tradition of ‘getting married’ remains the only triumph for a couple. The plot tries to establish the fact that despite several relationships not getting culminated into marriage; the bond between the couple always remains strong enough to reject a ‘social stamp’ in the form of marriage.
Saayoni has already completed the first leg of the shooting. The next schedule will also be wrapped up soon. Produced jointly by Tapan Roy and Bonani Roy, the Indo-Bangladesh venture is eyeing a Durga Puja release this year.
The Bengali actress last appeared in Kamaleswar Mukherjee’s psychological thriller ‘Good Night City’ and received accolades for her performance. She is also playing a key role in
Murari M Rakshit’s ‘Reunion’ which marks the return of Parambrata-Raima jodi.
