Sayantani Guhathakurta recently made the most of this rainy season in Goa. After returning from Mumbai, the actress wished to take some time off from her hectic schedule and enjoy some ‘me time’. “I have visited Goa several times before, but never during the rains. I had heard that the place turns magical during the
monsoon season and this year I finally got the chance to experience the magic of Goan monsoon,” she added.
Speaking further about her trip, Sayantani said she was there for three days and spent most of her time in south Goa. “I love spending time close to nature and that’s why I prefer south Goa. But I also spent some quality time with my friends in north Goa,” she said. What’s more, Sayantani also indulged in some retail therapy and bought a few beach wear and local handicrafts for herself.
On the work front, the actress is really excited about her two upcoming films – Teen Kanya and Total Masti. While the shoot of Sabyasachi Bhowmick’s Teen Kanya is over and the unit is now busy with the post-production work, the shoot of director Kamal Roy’s Total Masti is currently on.
Talking about her character in Teen Kanya, Sayantani said the film is based on three separate stories that revolve around three distinct characters. Sayantani is a part of the film titled Bed Sheet. In this, she has played the role of a domestic help, who travels to Kolkata via local train every day from the interiors of South 24 Parganas. “The story is about a stolen bed sheet and how the incident unmasks several many people,” she told us.
