’ is eagerly waiting for the shoot which will start in December. He will be seen playing a crucial role of Bibhas.
While speaking about the film, the talented singer-actor said it was
Rituparna Sengupta who reached out to him to offer the role. “Rituparna and I go back a long way. We have worked in many films together. In fact, she is my best friend in the film industry. So, when she asked me to do the film, I happily obliged. The best part is that I will be working with her, as Ritu will be seen in the titular role,” said the popular actor.
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time he is part of the screen adaptation of
Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay
’s iconic novel. “I stepped into the television industry in 2002 and soon I was offered a role in ‘Datta’, which was then aired on Doordarshan. I played Naren that time. It was a dream come true experience at the early stage of my career," added Shaheb who recently completed the shoot of his upcoming film ‘Hridpindo’.
