As schools remained shut with the pandemic induced lockdown persisting in varying degrees, children were in a prolonged state of physical isolation from their peers, teachers, extended family and society. However, at the same time they got the chance to be with their parents, just like prolonged holidays. So, why not capture these daily nuances in a film? That’s what Nandita Roy and Shibhoprasad Mukherjee’s upcoming ‘Haami 2’ talks about.

The story of these daily nuances of lockdown will be the main focus of this sequel to the 2018 hit ‘Haami’.
Speaking about the film’s relevance, especially in these tasting times, Shiboprosad, in an exclusive chat with ETimes, explains this lockdown was very sudden and none of us were mentally prepared for it, especially the kids. “Caging the kids inside the house was a very painful thing both mentally and physically, but they also enjoyed the time and attention they received from their parents during this house arrest and also the fact that they got a prolonged holiday added some amount of happiness to their otherwise mundane life. On the other hand, it has also been very stressful for parents to manage the entire scene at home. Through Haami 2 we are bringing forth the story of these daily
