Skyesports, a leading global IP and community builder, has announced the launch of Gaming Mahotsav, a first-of-its-kind pan-India pop culture festival celebrating gaming, comics, cosplay, music, and regional culture in one immersive experience.
Kicking off with Gaming Thiruvizha on August 30 – 31 at the Chennai Trade Centre, each edition of this touring festival will embrace a unique local identity, with regional names, languages, and themes. The Chennai event tickets will be exclusively available on the KYN app, a hyperlocal social platform for real-world community experiences.
Gaming Mahotsav blends LAN tournaments, anime, comics, cosplay, and live performances to reflect India’s growing pop culture and youth entertainment scene. “This is not just a gaming event. It’s a melting pot of regional identities, fandoms, and creativity,” said Shiva Nandy, Founder and CEO of Skyesports.
Each edition will host a cosplay competition, judged by top creators, as well as an Under-16 Chess Championship, with finalists competing in Pune.
