Soha is open to doing a Bengali film
In Kolkata for the ongoing Lit Fest, Soha Ali Khan said she was open to doing a Bengali film. “I will absolutely love to do a Bengali movie. I would love to do any kind of role that allows me to act with the right kind of director. I have always maintained that some of the most wonderful roles for women come out of Bengal,” she said. Though Soha understands Bengali, her mother tongue, she is not conversant in the language.

“But then I can work harder and remember the lines. When you are presented with the right kind of film, you tend to push yourself harder,” she said. The actress faced the screen for Saheb Bibi Aur Gangster after giving birth to Inaaya and she said she’s thankful to the makers for waiting for her. The release of the film is likely to be in April. Soha did two Bengali films, Iti Srikanta and Rituparno Ghosh’s Antarmahal.
