Soham in talks to play the lead in Premendu Bikash Chaki’s comedy flick

is balancing between her political and acting career like a pro. He wants to create fresh and unique contents and that’s why opened his own production house to work with relatively new filmmakers. Come November, his new film ‘

Kolkatar Harry

’ will release and he’s already assured that children will love the story.

Now, according to industry sources, Soham will star in a comedy film that will be directed

Premendu

Bikash Chaki. Incidentally, Premendu’s debut directorial had Soham and Subhashree Ganguly in the lead. Apart from Soham, there’s no news about the rest of the cast so far.

Soham already has one film in the pipeline waiting to be released. The film, Raj Chakraborty directed ‘

Dharmajuddho

’, has an ensemble cast of Swatilekha Sengupta, Ritwick Chakraborty, Subhashree Ganguly,

Parno Mittra

, and Soham, and it revolves around a small town of Ismailpur, which suffers an apocalyptic night as the town descends to anarchy as a sudden communal riot breaks out.

Meanwhile, after puja, Premendu will start shooting his next film which will star Ankush and Oindrila Sen in the lead. Ranjit Mallick, Aparajita Adhya and Sohag Sen will also be part of the cast. The film was announced long ago but due to the pandemic it got shelved.
