The actor just wrapped up the shooting of director duo Sudeshna Roy and Abhijit Guha’s upcoming film, where he plays the lead opposite actress Koushani Mukherjee. and also Sudeshna Aunty and Rana Da’s film. The serial’s bank episodes were suffering a bit since every alternate day I had to shoot for the film,” said Somraj.

Talking about his experience of working with the director duo and Koushani, the actor shared, “The film is based on two different timelines. This is my second project with the director duo. Earlier I had worked in a short film directed by them, titled Cholo Lets Live, where I was paired opposite Saayoni Ghosh. Working with Abhijit Guha and Sudeshna Roy is always a great experience as they can bring out the best in you. And sharing screen space with Koushani was super too. She is an awesome co-actor and a good friend, so we had fun shooting the film. She was really helpful on the sets as well. The entire film’s unit was great and we pulled off a difficult script in a very short time. Now, the film is in its post-production stage.”
