Parambrata Chatterjee's next directorial ‘Sonar Pahar’ was released on social media. As soon as the trailer hit the internet, it gained a huge round of applause from the audience.
The expectations are quite high, especially with such an ensemble cast. Starring Tanuja, Jisshu Sengupta, Parambrata Chatterjee and a cute child actor, the trailer promises to narrate a soul-stirring story of emotional bonding and a unique friendship between an old woman living in an old Kolkata house and a visiting little boy.

According to reports, ‘Sonar Pahar’ is reportedly inspired by Parambrata’s once-strained relationship with his mother, famous film critic and columnist Sunetra Ghatak.
