Soumitra Chattopadhyay and Manu Mukhopadhyay’s last film together is finally gearing up for release. Incidentally, both the actors have passed away in 2020. The film, titled ‘Sudhu Jaaoya Asa’, has been directed by Manish Ghosh and also stars Bharat Kaul, Biswanath Basu, Kanchan Mullick, Ratna Ghoshal, Anamika Saha, Suman Dey, debutant Priyanka and others in key roles. Interestingly, the film is based on a story penned by Manoj Mitra.
Sharing more details about the film director Manish Ghosh said, "The film is about an old man who has to leave his old rental home in unavoidable circumstances. He doesn’t know where to go and who to ask for help, as there is no one whom he can trust. He always used to treat the other tenants as his own family. The day he’s about to leave the house shocking turn of events change everything.”

While Joy Sarkar has composed the music, eminent singers like Lopamudra Mitra, Srikanta Acharya, Rupankar Bagchi and Anweshaa Dutta Gupta have done play backs for the film. The official trailer and music of the film was recently released in presence of the cast and crew.
