After Ebong Kiriti, Anirban Paria is back with his next, Baje Chobi, which stars Kaushik Sen, Priyanka Sarkar and Soumitra Chatterjee in the lead.

Avik

(Kaushik), a filmmaker, never compromises his soul to churn creative content, but that comes at a price. Despite being a talented director, he has difficulty finding a foothold in the industry. His films, although critically acclaimed, are commercial failures. His wife, Ranjana (Priyanka), soon chooses to separate from Avik and move over to her friend, Anik (

Devdut Ghosh

). Avik is crippled by a massive cerebral attack and Ranjana comes back to take care of him and nurses him back to health, leaving Avik with the aftertaste of a lost love. But she eventually goes back to Anik.
Avik soon realises that the life of an artiste can only be interpreted by another artiste. He visualises a young Avik running through bylanes towards an open field where Ajay (Avik’s father) is seen putting up his paintings for display. A young Avik starts help his father put them up, realising that art is where an artiste finds shelter. He also comprehends that his film might not be successful but that doesn’t mean he should compromise on his creative acumen.
