Subhashree starts shooting for 'Megh Roddur'

Subhashree, who plays superstar Madhuja Sen in Surajit Dhar and Sudarshan Basu���s ���Megh Roddur���, has begun shooting for her part. The director duo shot the first sequence with Subhashree, Palash, Anindya, Biplab, Biswajit, Damini and others on Monday at a resort on the city���s outskirts.
���The scene shows Madhuja holding a press conference with her film unit on reaching Meghalaya.We���ve also shot some scenes between Madhuja and Arpan (Palash), a simple guy from the hill station,��� informs Surajit.
Subhashree, on her part, is happy to have bagged such a powerful role. ���It���ll help me showcase my acting prowess. I hope to put in my best,��� she says. Surajit too can���t stop gushing about the actor.
���This film is a slight departure from the projects Subhashree usually does, but the way she has conceptualized the character is fascinating. The best part is that she is an avid listener and one doesn���t need to explain much to her. Also, she is very cooperative,��� smiles the director.
Newcomer Palash, who was all nerves on the first day of the shoot with Subhashree, says, ���I was jittery in the beginning, but Subhashree made things easy for me on the sets.���
