Subhasree and Soham in Prosenjit's production

After garnering huge appreciation from the audience for Benche Thakar Gaan, director duo Sudeshna Roy and Abhijit Guha is ready with their next. The yet untitled film, a full-on comedy , stars Subhashree and Soham in the lead. While Padmanabha Dasgupta has penned the script, the music has been composed by Jeet Gannguli. And, taking the helm for the creative and advisory roles is none other than Prosenjit Chatterjee. “A bunch of films will be made in which Bumbada will don the producer's role apart from being the creative advisor. All these films will be made with a wider audience in mind and with proper production planning. We are starting the journey with our film. The seed of the story was sown by Bumbada and we lapped it up as he strongly feels for the mainstream world, having almost single-handedly guided the industry since the '90s,“ informed Abhijit. He added, “Though our first film, Shudhu Tumi, starring

Prosenjit

and Koel Mallick, was mainstream, it was different from the usual main stream films of that time.
After years, we are again doing a film which is aimed at the larger audience, beyond the plexes.“

America

for six years, and Gunjan, his next door neighbour. They are childhood buddies. The film shows the journey of their friendship and how things take a turn after Rahul's marriage is fixed. While Subhashree will have a girlnext-door appearance, Soham will don a funny look.“
