and in a small sequence in Kamaleshwar Mukherjee’s Mukhomukhi, will now play a key role in Arjunn Dutta’s Shrimati that has Swastika Mukherjee and Soham in the lead.

“The film practically incepted frommy house. Arjunn read the script to Swastika there. For me, it is a full-blown character after many years. So yes, I am preparing,” said the dancer.

Sudarshan plays the character, Sandy, a leading choreographer in the city. “Srimati comes to him one day and his journey begins with her as a

teacher

,” he said.

Besides Srimati, Sudarshan was also busy working in Indraadip Dasgupta’s Bismillah. “I choreograph in many films. But this one is special as I was guiding

, who had earlier taken training from me for five years. This is the first time I am guiding him for a film. It is pretty special to me,” Sudarshan signed off.
