Sudiptaa is set for her Hindi debut with Kaushik Ganguly's next

Sudiptaa Chakraborty is all set to make her Hindi debut with Kaushik Ganguly’s first Hindi directorial, Manohar Pandey. “I have acted in Hindi serials and telefilms in the past. But this is my first Hindi film. When Kaushik da called me and offered me the role, I gave my nod even before I heard the script. Working with Kaushik Ganguly is a dream for any actor. The way he handles the story and the characters in a film are just outstanding.Also, when I heard about the cast — Saurabh Shukla, Raghubir Yadav, and Supriya Pathak Kapur — I couldn’t say no to it. To me, this shooting will be a learning process as I look up to these three actors when it comes to acting,” said the actress.
Talking about the project, Sudipta added, “This is a middle-aged love story where I play Radha. She is one of the catalysts in the film. I heard my scenes are with Saurabh ji and Raghu ji. That apart I will share screen space with Chitra Sen. My shooting schedule is from February.”
The actress will be back on the stage after a year with Debesh Chattopadhyay's play, Sadhagorer Nouko. “We had our last show in February 2020 and after that, all shows got cancelled because of the pandemic. I am so happy that I will be back on stage in February. The story is about a failed theatre artiste and I play a character who is 61 years old. That’s quite challenging,” said the actress.
