Trolls are always disturbing. People trolling
celebrities have been working overtime for quite a few years now. And with the surge in popularity of
social media platforms, there is no immediate end in sight for the menace. Popular actress
Swastika Dutta, too, has been a victim of such atrocities time and again.
The actress had shared a bold picture from her latest photoshoot and it grabbed all the attention instantly. In the picture,
Swastika
channels her inner diva in a ragged denim shirt while her black innerwear can also be seen. Many of her fans showered love for the actress appreciating her gorgeous beauty. However, there were some who criticized her for sharing such a bold picture. Some even claimed that she is trying all this to gain cheap publicity. Amid all these negative comments Swastika kept her cool and gave the
trolls
a fitting reply.
"Rather than being angry, I am amused at how nasty trolls can be. It's unimaginable that a simple post by me can lead to such horrendous stories about me," says the actress who has acted in films like Haripada Bandwala, Parbona Ami Charte Tokey,
Abhimaan
and
Jete Nahi Dibo
.
By her own admission, the actress is in a happy place with tons of work. "I can't be bothered with these allegations. And they cannot be true. I hardly get time off for my personal life. I am working very hard now," Swastika said.
She is also surprised that people she knows professionally have trolled her too. "I wouldn't take names but there are a few who hardly get to show their faces on TV or the big screen. By commenting on my photos, they think they will get noticed. Now I think, if I get a paunch, trolls will say I am pregnant," Swastika added.
