Tathagata Mukherjee hopes to start his dream project by end of this year

At a time, when we are constantly dealing with uncertainties, director Tathagata Mukherjee is perhaps the most happy man around. He has decided to make the most of this situation and is hoping to start his

new project

either by the end of this year or early next year. The director said that it would not have been possible without the

lockdown

.

According to Tathagata, it’s going to be his dream project. The director said that this is going to be a multi-starrer, big-budget feature film. Even though he did not reveal anything about the script and the star cast, he said this is going to be a very interesting project and will be big in many aspects. "When I say big, I mean bigger than an average Bengali film," he said, adding that this is going to be an adventure drama film.

The most interesting part is that he could finalise this project only because of the lockdown. "I had the story and concept ready, but I needed partners to do it. Luckily, I met two people during the lockdown with whom I am working on the project. They live abroad and would have left India if the lockdown had not happened," Tathagata said.

At the same time, Tathagata said that he does not want to sound insensitive and is aware of the problems people are facing during this crisis.
