On Tuesday,
Sujan
Mukhopadhaya will complete shooting for Abhijit Sen’s film, Tonic, which also stars
Biswanath Basu,
Kanchan Mullick,
Rajatava Dutta and others. After five-six years Sujan is pairing up with
Koneenica Banerjee in this film. “Koni (Koneenica) and I have worked in many serials. After that we worked in
Chotushkone
and Haami, but we never played a couple in these two films. So, after ages, we are playing a couple on screen. I have realised that our chemistry and coordination are still the same,” said the actor who is shooting for
Kapalkundala
today.
Sujan plays ParanBandopadhyay’s son, who is an engineer, in the film. “It is about a father-son relationship and how Dev acts as a mediator between the two,” said Sujan.
Sujan informed, “In my first serial,
Shakuntala di (Burua) played my mother’s character and after ages in Tonic she plays my mother. So, it is a lot of fun.”
