Soham Chakraborty feels nostalgic about his 2015 hit ‘
Katmundu
’. The comedy flick directed by
Raj Chakraborty was shot in Nepal and had an ensemble cast including Soham,
Abir Chatterjee,
Rudranil Ghosh,
Tanusree Chakraborty,
Srabanti Chatterjee,
Mimi Chakraborty and
Saswata Chatterjee among others.
Recently Soham posted a throwback picture from the sets of ‘Katmundu’ where Raj, Soham, Rudranil, Srabanti, Abir and Mimi are all smile for a happy pose. Soham captioned the picture: “The dream team behind #Katmundu! Throwback to the shooting days. @rajchoco @mimichakraborty @srabanti.smile @itsmeabirchatterjee @rudyrudranil.”
Last year Raj Chakraborty planned a sequel to ‘Katmundu’ but it didn’t happen as casting problem become major issue. The sequel was tentatively titled as ‘Katmundu 2 Cambodia’. Abir Chatterjee was the first man to back out from ‘Katmundu 2 Cambodia’ as he didn’t like the script. Then Raj spoke to Jisshu Sengupta, Rudranil Ghosh and Soham Chakraborty to play the central characters. However, Jisshu and Soham reportedly rejected the offer showing the same reason as Abir.
