Tolly celebs throng screening of film on 26/11 attacks

The special screening of the Australian, American and Indian co-production,

Hotel Mumbai

, took place at a city mall on Thursday. Even though a large part of the cast and crew of the film were out of the country, a number of Tollywood celebs were present at the screening.

Director Satrajit Sen, who reached the venue on time, said he had heard many good things about the film and wanted to see it. “I can’t wait to see the movie. I have heard so many good things about it that it has become a must-watch for me,” he added. The film is based on the backdrop of the Mumbai terror attacks. On 26/11, members of Lashkar-e-Taiba stormed

the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel

and other sites in the city in a series of coordinated attacks. Amid the gunfire and mayhem, a brave chef and kitchen worker decide to risk their own lives to save the lives of the hotel residents.
