Tollywood actor Parthasarathi Deb is no more. The actor breathed his last at Friday night. The actor was not keeping well in past few weeks. He was admitted in a hospital for over a month. The actor was reportedly put in ventilation for his deteriorating health. On March 22, at 11.50 pm, the actor breathed his last. Parthasarathi Deb served as the vice-president for the West Bengal Motions Pictures Artist Forum for long. The news of his demise was shared via a statement from the forum. The late actor’s body will be brought to the Technician Studio in Tollygunj on Saturday noon. Colleagues from the industry, friends and admirers will be able to pay their last respect to the veteran actor.

Parthasarathi Deb was suffering from COPD for long. There was infection in his lungs as well. The actor was suffering from pneumonia too. He was undergoing treatment in a hospital since early February. As his health condition deteriorated, he was put in ventilation support. All battles were lost on March 22 2024.

The late actor’s illustrious career ranges from television screen to films. Spanning over four decades, Parthasarathi Deb has worked in various popular films like ‘Lathi’, ‘Kakababu Here Gelen’, ‘Prem Amar’, and ‘Romeo’. He was seen in the television series ‘Satyajiter Goppo’. His recent releases were Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy directorial ‘Raktabeej’ and Dhrubo Banerjee’s ‘Bogla Mama Jug Jug Jiyo’. As per sourced, he was yet to dub for a few upcoming films. The actor passed away, keeping the work undone.
