Soumitra Chattopadhyay’s speedy recovery. The iconic actor tested positive for COVID-19 this morning and was rushed to a Kolkata private hospital. His condition is reportedly stable right now with a mild fever but no other symptoms. The thespian had started shooting for his upcoming projects after lockdown. He was last shooting for a docu-feature.

Like any other responsible citizen, Soumitra Chatterjee stayed at home during the lockdown reading a lot of books and writing down his thoughts. When lockdown ended initially he also completed the shoot of Parambrata Chattopadhyay’s ‘Abhijaan’ which is incidentally the legendary actor’s biography.
