Playing a
double role
in a film can be challenging for actors, but that’s precisely the reason why they enjoy doing it. This time round, we can see Tota Roychowdhury essaying two completely different personalities in
Arindam Basu
’s film, Arokto. Talking about his roles, Tota said, “This is the first time that I am playing a double role. One is that of a pot-bellied sub-inspector, Biswanath Dhol. It used to take me about three hours to get into Biswanath’s skin. Why I had to don this avatar in the film is for the audience to find out. The other character I play is that of a bar owner, Rahil, who goes missing.”
Revealing about his other projects in the offing, Tota said, “Talks are on for two other films. Director Arjun Dutta is planning a project with
Swastika Mukherjee and me in the lead. Also, Sagnik Chatterjee intends to make a film that revolves around a young boy and me.”
