Popular actor Vikram Chatterjee who’s a self-proclaimed

fitness

freak suggests people who don't have a setup at home can depend on bodyweight exercises. He says if you are out of workout for a long, it takes more effort to return to shape.

“I have to stay fit because as an actor I have to be fit. So, I have created a small setup with simple, basic equipment at my house. For people who don't have this option, they can look for body-weight workouts. It's nothing serious, just simple pushups,

surya namaskar

, back pushups and also free squats. You can also start Jogging and walking, plus chin up and parallel bar can be effective body-weight exercises if you have the space and the amenities at home,” Vikram shares with ETimes.

He adds if someone is restarting his or her workout sessions after recovering from

COVID-19

, the concentration must be on breathing exercises, a light jog or brisk walking.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Vikram will next be seen in Atanu Ghosh’s upcoming film ‘Shesh Pata’. The film, focusing on the mental and emotional costs of debt, stars Prosenjit Chatterjee, Gargee Roychowdhury, Vikram and

Rayati Bhattacharjya

in key roles. The shoot of the film begins in September.
