Watch: Rituparna’s first look of a single mother from ‘Bansuri’

Rituparna Sengupta is all set to make a comeback in Hindi films as the protagonist in south director

’. Director actor Anurag Kashyap is playing her husband in the film. And now, the first look of Rituparna from ‘Bansuri’ is out and it looks quite interesting.

The film is about a single mother and the way she raises her child. No one gets to know about her husband at the beginning. The child often plays with a musician neighbour’s son in the latter’s house. One day, tired of listening to his parents, his friend picks up the violin and plays it beautifully. Those in the audience applaud him and say that talent is in his blood. This prompts the child to come home and ask his mother what’s in his blood. His mother gives him a flute and he learns it, thinking his father could play it well.

What happens when the child comes face to face with his father is what the story is all about. Raghuvir Yadav will be seen in the role of the father-in-law, while Chitrangada Chakraborty, my daughter, plays the role of the child’s flute teacher. Child artiste Harshil, who was last seen in Bishorjon, will play Rituparna’s son.
