. “I have my friends and family there. Since May 20, I could barely get in touch with them, the actress told us over the phone from Dhaka.


The actress also said that she misses Kolkata. “I am away from Kolkata for more than two months and every moment I am missing the city, my second home. I saw the photographs of the destruction — fallen trees, dead birds, broken roofs. I can’t even imagine the misery of the marginal people. It is a two-prong attack — Covid 19 and Amphan. But we, the Bengalis, are fighters! We shall be back with full gusto. I am sure about that,” Jaya added
