Soham
will start shooting for Soumen Sur’s film,
Ei Ami Renu, from July 22. “We started shooting for the film in March, but then the
lockdown
happened and we had to stall it. We could shoot only for a day. I was really happy when the production team blocked my dates again from July 22 and my director called me to say that we will be back on the floors. I am waiting to hear these three words: ‘Lights, camera rolling and action!’ These words work as oxygen for me,” said the actor.
Ei Ami Renu revolves around a girl (played by
Sohini Sarkar) and her journey and how other characters (played by
Kaushik Ganguly,
Gaurav Chakrabarty, and Soham) come into her life and her life takes a turn.
But is he worried about getting back on the floors, as there is a huge rise in Covid-positive cases of late? “I am not exactly worried, but a bit tensed. At the same time, we can’t sit back at home for an indefinite period, as we have to run our families and pay EMIs too. I am sure all the safety measures will be maintained on the sets as everyone is aware of the situation now,” said the actor.
