Mitra’s film Saanjbaati? “I am yet to read the script. But there are three reasons I gave my nod to the film. First, it is Atanu da’s (Ray Chaudhuri) first movie under his production house and I feel he understands the business of film very well. He knows what works with the audience and I have complete faith in him. Second, Leena di and Saibal da are very successful in television and can well understand what the audience wants to see. Their debut film, Maati, was well appreciated, so I am sure this film too will be good. And lastly, a cast where Soumitra Chatterjee, Dev, Paoli and I are there is something Tollywood has not seen. The cast is really out of the box. So I wanted to be part of this film before reading the script,” Arpita said.
