As the festive spirit of Debi Pakhsha enveloped the City Of Joy, it was made even more special with the arrival of the Brazilian football maestro, Ronaldinho. The atmosphere was electric, as people buzzed with excitement at the rare opportunity to witness the football legend up close. Kolkata’s streets were abuzz with chatter about his visit, and fans eagerly awaited each of his appearances.

On his eventful visit to Kolkata, Ronaldinho graced various events and locations. One of his most anticipated visits was to his football academy. From there, he made his way to the Sreebhumi Sporting Club pandal, where he had a playful football match with minister Sujit Basu, a key event organizer. The sight of Ronaldinho playing on the local grounds left spectators in awe, their excitement palpable.

But the highlights didn't end there. Later in the afternoon, Ronaldinho was welcomed at Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s residence in Kalighat. The time was precisely 3.45 pm when he arrived. In a warm show of hospitality, the Chief Minister had been eagerly waiting for the superstar. The football fraternity was well represented too, with the likes of ex-Mohun Bagan icon Satyajit Bandyopadhyay, Raju Ahmed of Mohammedan Sporting Club, and Debabrata Sarkar from East Bengal present to greet the Brazilian sensation.

His journey continued as he next made an appearance at the pandal of Ahiritola Jubak Brinda. Here, ‘Mitin Mashi’ Koel Mallik and director Arindam Sil were present, campaigning for their upcoming release ‘Jongole Mitin Mashi’. The duo, filled with excitement, unveiled a grand poster before having a memorable meeting with Ronaldinho. Their euphoria was evident when Koel later shared moments of their encounter, captioning it, "When Ronaldinho meets Mitinmashi." The city's fervor for having the football legend amidst them was truly a sight to behold.
