Now actor-politician Mimi Chakraborty has slammed the police and administration in Manipur for the ongoing violence. Meanwhile, the shocking video shows two women paraded naked and molested by a group of men while the women were dragged to a field and allegedly gang-raped later. One of the men from the video was nabbed by Manipur police after the clip went viral on social media.
The incident actually happened on May 4, just a day after horrific clashes broke out between the valley-majority Meitei and the hill-majority Kuki tribe in Manipur over the Meiteis' continuous demand for Scheduled Tribes (ST) status.
