Yash, who is awaiting the release of his next, took to
Twitter to share his feelings. He tweeted: #MonJaaneNa releasing 21st March, am sure it’s going to melt your heart... Make sure you carry tissues or a shoulder to cry on. (sic)
When we asked the actor about his expectations from the film, he said, “Mon Jaane Na is a tragic story. Shagufta Rafique, who works predominantly in Mumbai is the director of this film.
She has treated the film as a new-age commercial film.”
On being asked about his
Holi plans, Yash shared, “Earlier, I used to play Holi like a crazy person! But now. I don’t play much for every year I am usually shooting around March. With my film Mon Jaane Na releasing on Holi, I will be visiting halls to take feedback from the audiences. I'm looking to smear abir on the audience — but, of course, on those who are willing to participate in the festival. I love the smell of herbal abir.” Holi lunch is always special and elaborate for Yash. “Mutton and rice are a must-have on Holi. Breakfast is luchi and aloor dom. And dinner, without a second thought, is biryani and chaap,” said the actor. Yash's favourite Holi song is Rang Barse! “This song has to play at our Holi party! I remember how we used to dance to this song during our college days. Whenever I hear the song, I get to reminiscing about the time we used to live in Dover Lane,” said the actor. “White looks best on Holi and every year, I buy a new white shirt or kurta to wear,” said Yash with a smile.
