Day 1. Blue is the safest colour. And what better way to start off your 100sareepact but a gorgeous navy malmal saree, along with a boat-neck blouse of the same shade, lace on the neck, reminds one of a rain-drenched afternoon. While the yellow paar sure provides the much appreciated sunshine, it is Swastika's far-away look that is the hero (or heroine) of this picture.

Day 2. Swastika decides to break barriers. One of the most striking looks from the 7 days. A green leheria, (that was supposedly gifted to her by mum when she was still in school), that is spunked up by Swastika's quirky choice of a choli. A strappy gangee top adorned with a vibrant image of Lord Hanuman. The shell neck piece takes up the quirk quotient by another few notches and pose+background+photography has us hooked.

Day 3: The intellectual look is a favourite with the young people these days, and so many of us can take inspiration from this look of Swastika's. A black base handloom saree, with striped maroon paar, teamed with a block print white blouse with red and maroon border. On day 4, Swastika took a nostalgic turn to her childhood. This green saree, as she mentions on her twitter handle, was a gift from her dad when she was in class 6. This emerald chiffon is the kind of saree that every working woman swears by. Easy to carry, fluid and resistant to ugly creases. just a black bindi and kohl completes the look. However, she tried out a Chinese look too, by adding a red cape and a head gear to the outfit. We aren't complaining.

Day 5: White-red-orange Tangail, with a heavy thread-work orange blouse. The broad paar of this saree makes it a distinct departure from regular lal-paar-sada-saree. Swastika accessorizes with a chunky junk neck-piece and a dainty wristlet. The jhola breaks the colour scheme with a little black and brown. But the highlight of this look? That nose-pin. Bet many of us can kill for that!

On the sixth day of her #100sareepact, Swastika chose a white organza, featuring floral embroidery. She teamed it up with a plain cotton blouse and added a statement beaded neckpiece to bring in some colour to the look. Her make-up consisted of just a maroon lippy and some kohl. Trivia: Swastika's mom wore this saree to college. isn't that the thing about sarees? they never lose the charm.

The latest of her saree looks features a red and gold Tangail, paired with a simple black blouse with red piping. with the pure gold ornaments — a three-string neck-piece and a bala on her wrist — she keeps it clean and fuss-less.
