Anupam Roy on his favourite Chandrabindoo song

Only recently, Anupam Roy — Tollywood’s top composer — admitted that even though there could be competition in individual fields, there are not many who work as a singer-songwriter-composer like him. So, when we asked him if there’s any song that he felt he could compose, he let us in on a secret, “I love the lyrics of Chandrabindoo’s Ei ebro khebro rawng. It’s a loaded song with beautiful lines like, ‘Taja loafer er seesher beesh, uthe giye kenno ke pishe dish’.I have always been a fan of Anindyada and Chandrilda and their songs are very rich. I always look up to Chandrabindoo as a band. Having said that, I want to write lyrics like the way I do; I am quite content with myself.”
